Project Location: Derry, NH
Project Overveiw
The owners of Hood Commons, a retail shopping center located in Derry, New Hampshire, wanted to upgrade the façade of their property. Our final design and scope-of-work, was dictated by the budget that the owners had specified.
The project involved removing three large towers (requiring cranes) that did not lend themselves to the new look. New structural columns were added, existing columns were repaired and stone work was added at the base of each column. In addition, stucco was added to feature certain tenants and the entire façade was repaired as required and repainted. The pedestrian sidewalks were also repaired and electrical work was inspected and upgraded where needed.
As much of the work was done during normal business hours, we had to work with each tenant to minimize any disruption to their business. Temporary signage, noise, and safety barriers were just a few of the items that needed to be addressed.
